MOON SAND is a 55.5-metre aluminium motor yacht built by Lurssen in 2021, with both exterior and interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell, and last updated in 2024. She represents a modern expression of Lurssen engineering — a yard known for large, technically sophisticated projects — at a size that remains highly manageable for charter operations. The Bannenberg & Rowell design practice is one of the most recognised names in superyacht design, and their involvement across both exterior and interior gives MOON SAND a cohesive, thoughtfully executed character.

She accommodates 10 guests across 5 cabins with a professional crew of 15 — a 1.5-to-1 crew ratio that is exceptional and reflects a commitment to a high standard of service. MOON SAND operates across both the Mediterranean and Caribbean: France, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Ibiza, the Balearics, Monaco, the Amalfi Coast, and the French Riviera in season, plus the Bahamas, Antigua, Saint Martin, and St Barts. Her 5,000-nautical-mile range comfortably supports transatlantic positioning. She is suited to guests who want contemporary quality and flexibility; less suited to those seeking a classic or intimate vessel.

At 830 gross tonnes with bow and stern thrusters and both at-anchor and underway stabilisation, MOON SAND handles with precision and remains composed at anchor in exposed conditions. The 2024 update keeps her technical systems at the leading edge of her build vintage. The elevator provides deck-to-deck access across her four levels.

Onboard, the swimming pool, deck jacuzzi, sun deck, sunpads, outdoor bar, and swimming platform create a well-articulated outdoor entertainment environment. The gym is equipped for regular use. Water sports include two Seadoo Spark jet-skis, two Seabobs, two electric surfboards, two e-foil boards, a wakeboard, wakeskate, kite surf equipment, and an inflatable jet-ski dock. Two tenders are on file. Wheelchair accessibility and Wi-Fi are both noted.
