GALENE

GALENE is a 55-metre steel displacement yacht built by Amels in 2020 to the Amels 180 series, registered in the Cayman Islands. Her exterior was drawn by Tim Heywood Design and her interiors conceived by Laura Sessa Romboli — a combination of one of the most respected naval architects in the superyacht sector and a designer known for warm, liveable interiors. As a recent build with no recorded refit, she represents current Amels build standards throughout.

With accommodation for 12 guests across five cabins and a crew of 13, GALENE operates with a crew-to-guest ratio that reflects proper full-service superyacht crewing. She is available for yacht charter in both the Mediterranean — covering the French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, Corsica, Sardinia, Monaco, and broader Italian and French waters — and the Caribbean, with documented deployments in Antigua, the Virgin Islands, Saint Martin, and St Barts. The beach club with swimming platform provides direct water-level access, complemented by a deck jacuzzi, sun deck, sunpads, and gym. The watersports programme is well structured: Seabobs, a jet ski, jetsurf, wakesurf, wakeboards, water-ski equipment, paddleboards in both rigid and inflatable form, a waterslide, towable toys, and snorkelling equipment. Two tenders support water operations. The overall onboard character tends toward active daytime use of the sea combined with considered evening social spaces.
