LIFE SAGA is a 42.09-metre custom Heesen, built in 1994 and refitted in 2014, sailing under the Cayman Islands flag. Her exterior design is the work of Azure Naval Architects in collaboration with Heesen's in-house team, while the interior was produced by Diaship Design. Built in aluminium — a material that Heesen pioneered at this class length — she carries the structural and weight advantages of that construction tradition: a lighter hull with 318 gross tonnes of volume and a 3,500 nautical mile range that reflects the passage-making ambitions of the original commission.

She accommodates twelve guests across five cabins with a crew of seven. Her charter territory covers the central Mediterranean: the French and Italian Rivieras, Sardinia, Corsica, Amalfi, Monaco, and France. LIFE SAGA is suited to guests seeking a well-proportioned, traditionally styled vessel with the reliability and range of a mature Heesen platform. A 30-year-old vessel will have accumulated a considered refit history, and prospective charterers should note that while the 2014 refit addressed key systems, she predates the interior design language of more recent deliveries from this builder.

The aluminium hull and displacement configuration return 12 knots cruise and 16 knots maximum, appropriate for the Mediterranean passages her regions demand. At-anchor stabilisers and a bow thruster assist comfort at rest and precision in confined berths. A deck jacuzzi provides the principal social centrepiece on deck, supported by sunpads, an outdoor bar, and a swimming platform for sea access.

The water sports inventory for LIFE SAGA is active and well suited to the western Mediterranean. Three rigid paddleboards, two inflatable kayaks, a wakeboard, wakesurf, wakeskate, water ski, towable toys, and snorkelling equipment provide a varied programme at anchor.
